Personal Reflection

When The Hanged Man appeared for me, it came just before a difficult experience — the day before a bad interview. At first, I read it as stagnation. Looking back, it was the precursor to change. The moment of pause that redirected my path. Sometimes the sacrifice is simply waiting and trusting that stillness has purpose.

Know thyself, and the sorrow that leads to enlightenment.. to understand Joanne and rapture one was also experience sorrow. Did you ever know something you fear might happen, even though you told yourself it wouldn’t really? And then, it did. That’s the fucking three of swords. 

Affirmative Will makes a conquest. The double headed Red eagle is a symbol of the emperor and is often shown as the emblem on his shield as in the Thoth deck, And on the Tabula Mundi emperor with a single heard making up part of the compass of the compass and square on the card. And alchemy the right eagle represents the red tincture, fiery with the solar nature of cold. And heraldry the double eagle looks east and west, representing rule in all directions, and authority in both secular and religious matters.

The secret seed of life and here we see a nest with eight eggs that have been fertilized and are now being Warmed by a lantern that lights ones path and is also the spark of life.

Five of wands: volcano, Cross and sickle. Pressure builds and seeks release. Volcanoes are symbols of fire and earth, with great and severe strength. Volcano fire lurks beneath the surface of the earth, continually building up pressure until it explodes into manifestation. Seven of cups: here is the illusion of intoxication; false lights that lead astray. The will-o’-the-wisp can lead you astray on your path. And from the cups, rise verse ephemeral embryonic forms. The Willowisp is an atmospheric ghost light seen of her bugs and swamps. It translates to “foolish fire“. Also called orbs or ghost lights.
